our mission

The 62nd Street Association's sole purpose is to improve the quality of life of those who live within its reaches on 62nd Street between 5th and 3rd Avenues.  We attempt to accomplish this by being your go-to outlet for problems such as noise, unsightliness, lighting and any other concerns directly related to living in our immediate community.  We try to be of help with issues involving the Police Department or the Sanitation Department.  And most noticeably, we attempt to beautify our streets by flower plantings and tree care.

Neighbors, we cannot maintain our blocks without your support!  Suggested contributions are $50 for apartment renters, $100 for apartment owners, $200 for townhouse occupants and $300 for commercial occupants. 

Your board members are all volunteers and every penny collected goes directly into improving our blocks.  Please consider participating.

Please know, we are open to suggestions on how we can improve your individual situation.  Your involvement will be most welcome and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
